Why can't I display all of my posts on Facebook?

  • Due to Facebook’s privacy policy you’re not able to use the plugin to display all of your posts from a personal profile, only from a Facebook page or group, as posts from a personal profile are protected for privacy reasons. You may have limited success in displaying certain posts from a personal profile but most posts are not able to be displayed.

When I visit the Facebook main page, it only shows a few posts and then stops loading anything else. I can't even access my messages. It's like the JavaScript just failed. Checking the console in Chrome, I see literally thousands of errors being generated. I have already deleted my cache and temporary files, but still no luck.

Only a few of my posts are showing up, or I’m only getting “___ is now friends with ___” posts. This is usually because you’re trying to display posts from a personal Facebook profile. The plugin can only be used to display posts from a Facebook page that you are an admin of or a Facebook group.

The answer: 26 posts before seeing a friend’s picture from a wine event in Iowa. Now, many of the 26 posts were informational and interesting. I liked many of them-which might be the reason why Facebook is showing me more brand page posts over friends’ posts. Some were sponsored posts. Some were page ads.

A limited version of the Most Recent view would suck, because it’s our chronological view of posts. If they limit it to only 5-10 posts, then it makes it very difficult to go back and find a post that you saw and wanted to look at again. You can always search for the post, but the Facebook search feature is cumbersome.

The truth is, even if you have accumulated a ton of followers, the number of people who will actually see your content is much smaller than it appears. Let’s say you’ve obtained 1,000 Likes on your Facebook page. It stands to reason that every time you post content to that page, all 1,000 people will see it.

Update: It is now possible to display posts from a page which has restrictions on it, so long as you are using a “Page” Access Token obtained from that specific Facebook page. To do this, you must have access to the Facebook page you are trying to display (i.e. have a role on the page). You can then use the big blue Facebook login button in our plugin to get a token for that Facebook Page.

Their posts won't appear in your News Feed, but you'll still be "friends" as far as Facebook is concerned. Unfollow from the News Feed by selecting the ellipsis and clicking "Unfollow [friend]."

The Facebook news feed algorithm attempts to figure out which posts you most want to see. Posts that you see first are influenced by your connections and activity on Facebook. The number of comments, likes and reactions a post receives and what kind of story it is (example: photo, video, status update) can also make it more likely to appear higher up in your News Feed.

Fix 1. How to repair a Facebook post with a missing image. The easiest fix for a Facebook post image not showing is to add a new post by using the URL of the page you want to share.
