At the moment the only way to check if somebody replied is to refresh the page and check again. This is not what happens if I comment a post of a friend, I'd get notified if anyone answers. Asked about 5 years ago by Fran 127 Votes · 12 Followers · Seen by 8,019

If there’s more than one Facebook Admin on your Page, all of you would get the notification. If another Admin replied to the comment or message, you would also see that so there’s no need to worry about duplication.

FB does NOT notify you (in any way) of any reply anybody makes to your reply (made to any comment or to any reply.) [even if the original 1st level comment writer replies back to you!] Only replies to a 1st level comment will trigger a notification to that comment’s writer only.

You can quickly determine the privacy setting of the original post by the icon next to it.   The most often used settings are Publicand Friends.

The first one is where you posted a status update, and someone commented on it. The second is when someone posts a comment on an update on your Page. When you hide a comment on your post/update, it...

Just click “hide comment.”. After you do this, you’ll see other options you can take, including “unhide,” “delete,” and ...
